Ecowas Chairman, President Nana Akuffo Addo has finally reacted to calls by Ghanaians to add his voice to the ongoing massacre of EndSARS protestors in Nigeria.
President Nana Akuffo was heavily roasted for being silent about the massacre that went on in Lekki leading to the killing of innocent EndSARS Protestors.
In a recent tweet, the Chairman of Ecowas has finally adhered to the plea and has joined in the protest.
According to the president, he has had a dialogue with Presidnet Buhari to end SARS brutality.
The statement reads “I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria. I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end, and has begun the processes that will lead to reform.
” Violence, be it on the part of the Police or protesters, cannot be the solution. To the families who have lost their loved ones, I express my sincere condolences, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery. 2/2 #EndSARS,”
