Ghanaweb has reported that Former NPP Member of Parliament Adamu Daramani Sakande died on Tuesday evening in London, United Kingdom.
He was a former Member of Parliament for the Bawku Central Constituency, in the Upper East region. “Hon Adamu Daramani Sakande joins the land of the silent ones this evening in London. He was a great father and an uncle,” a family relative narrated to TheGhanaReport.

Meanwhile, this former lawmaker, who was charged with perjury and forgery, was announced to have been carried out of Ghana for medical treatment in the year 2013. This occurred after he was granted relieve by former President John Dramani Mahama because his health had deteriorated.
But reports say Sakande came out to deny the Daily Graphic broadcast at the time, explaining that a more serious sense was created as though he had been bedridden abroad for medical attention.
Sadly enough, Adamu Daramani Sakande was 58-years-old and left behind a wife and two children. Thus, friends and loved ones have taken to social media to mourn the late politician.
